As we read on the Bolesławiec municipality website:
[Członkowie Koła Wędkarskiego „Ciernik”] at the site they found […] the sad sight of a mountain of rubbish left behind by people relaxing by the water. Despite very uncertain weather and a very small group interested in cleaning up, they got to work. The huge container quickly filled up with “gifts from those relaxing by the water.”
The following people took part in the campaign: Tadeusz Kordas, Tadeusz Sandak, Tadeusz Sola, Paweł Rzemek, Janusz Latoch, Maciej Żurakowski, Grzegorz Kasperski and Armand Kasperski. – The Bolesławiec municipality thanks the “Ciernik” Angling Club for dedicating its time and working to improve the condition of this area – officials say. – It is worth adding that from January to mid-November this year alone, nearly PLN 7,000 has already been spent from the municipality’s budget on cleaning municipal areas of rubbish and waste abandoned there.
