Bolesławiec is becoming a city of retail parks. After Stara Mleczarnia and the retail park on Wesoła Street, another facility of this type will be built on the site of the former eastern railway station. The complex will be located between Chrobrego, Hutnicza and Staroszkolna streets. It will be a single-storey, L-shaped building.
The building footprint will cover approximately 4,100 m². The retail park will have eight units: one measuring 1,175 m², intended for a discount grocery store, as well as six measuring 375 m² each. The units are planned to house a drugstore, clothing store, furniture store, consumer electronics and household appliances store, flooring accessories store, and a unit of approximately 600 m² intended for food service.
There will also be 167 parking spaces. Passenger cars will access the site from Hutnicza and Chrobrego streets. Delivery vehicles will have access only from Hutnicza Street. Stary Dworzec Retail Park is scheduled to open by December 2018.
