Winners of this year’s “Bolesławiec in Bloom” competition announced

Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman, president of the Bolesławiec Enthusiasts Society Zygmunt Brusiło and chairman of the competition committee Mirosław Sołtyszewski announced the results of this year’s “Bolesławiec in Bloom” competition. The prizes and distinctions in the individual categories went to:

• most beautifully flower-decorated window

• most beautifully flower-decorated balcony
  1. Marianna Ostrowska

     distinctions: Helena Kowal, Jan Wilk, Rajmund Śledziński, Krystyna Sas, Elżbieta Gruszczyńska, Barbara Adamczak, Weronika Kumosz
• most beautifully flower-decorated garden in a multi-family residential area

• most beautifully flower-decorated garden at public-use facilities

     distinctions: Primary School No. 4 named after Jan Matejko in Bolesławiec, Toscano Restaurant – Julia Suder
• most beautifully flower-decorated allotment garden
  1. Family Allotment Garden “Relaks I”
  2. Family Allotment Garden “Kolejarz”
  3. Family Allotment Garden “Malwa”
     distinctions: Family Allotment Garden “Pod Dębami”, Family Allotment Garden “Serbinowo”, Family Allotment Garden “Chemik”, Family Allotment Garden “Sława”, Family Allotment Garden “Wiarus”, Family Allotment Garden “Tulipan”, Family Allotment Garden “Stokrotka”, Family Allotment Garden “Cegiełka”, Family Allotment Garden “Krokus”.

The prizes in the competition are vouchers for the PBS Mrówka store on Kościuszki Street in Bolesławiec. The total value of the vouchers is PLN 10,000. (They are valid until 31 May 2018; the funds come from the budget of the City of Bolesławiec).

All participants also received certificates and DVDs containing photographic documentation prepared during the competition.
