The Historical Circle of Polish Riding Enthusiasts of the 6th Kaniow Lancers Regiment was established on 24 February 2012 at Municipal Gymnasium No. 2 in Bolesławiec on the initiative of physical education and history teacher Grzegorz Jankowski. It brings together people of all ages who want to combine their passion for horse riding with preserving cavalry traditions. In addition, the Circle promotes broadly understood patriotic education based on respect for the national values “God, Honour, Homeland”.
The Circle received substantive support from Michał Andrzejak of the Association of the 15th Poznań Lancers Regiment, which has operated in Poznań for 30 years. His assistance is very important to us. From March 2013 to April 2015, the Circle was part of the Society of Lovers of Lviv and the Southeastern Borderlands in Bolesławiec. Between 31 July and 8 August 2015, the Historical Circle was transformed into the Cavalry Association of the 6th Kaniow Lancers Regiment.
