We will hear Polish patriotic songs performed by the choirs of the University of the Third Age, the Association of Re-emigrants from Bosnia, Their Descendants and Friends, Kamerton PSM I St, Voce d'Argento and Canatate Deo. Before the concert, at 6:00 p.m., the Cavalry Association of the 6th Kaniow Uhlan Regiment will perform in the green square in the Market Square.
This exceptional concert, with the active participation of the audience, will take place on November 11 at 7:00 p.m. in the Basilica of the Virgin Mary, as part of the “Niepodległa to My” project carried out by BOK – MCC. The choirs will perform the final five pieces together with the audience: Białe róże, Czerwone Maki na Monte Cassino, Wojenko, wojenko, Rozszumiały się wierzby płaczące and Barka.
The “Niepodległa to MY” project is co-financed by the funds of the Multiannual Programme Niepodległa for 2017–2021, under the Niepodległa Grant Programme.
The project is organised by Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre. Partners: Witold Lutosławski State Music School in Bolesławiec, the Association of Re-emigrants from Bosnia, Their Descendants and Friends, the Cavalry Association of the 6th Kaniow Uhlan Regiment, and the Wrocław University of Economics, Faculty of Economics, Management and Tourism, University of the Third Age in Bolesławiec.
