In the 13th-round match of the Jelenia Góra district league, BKS Bolesławiec drew 0–0 away to Łużyce Lubań. Both teams had several chances to tip the balance in their favor. However, the players lacked finishing quality. Little happened on the pitch in the first half. Play took place mainly in the middle of the field. Patryk Pirożek struck twice at the Łużyce goal, but the ball did not find its way into the net.
After the break, the game became somewhat livelier. Following a shot by a Lubań player, the ball struck the crossbar. Oliwier Gasiak, meanwhile, failed to convert a one-on-one chance against the goalkeeper. Toward the end of the match, both teams had opportunities to determine the result. Maciej Zielonka came close to scoring for BKS, but the home goalkeeper was alert and deflected the ball for a corner. It is worth noting that Łużyce’s goal was guarded that day by an outfield player. Unfortunately, the Bolesławiec side could not take advantage of this, and the match ended with the points shared.
After 13 rounds, BKS retained its position as the league table’s runner-up. Sebastian Tylutki’s team has collected 26 points. Bolesławiec is eight points behind the leader, Victoria Ruszów. Piast Wykroty is third in the table, just two points behind BKS. Next week, BKS will host Stella Lubomierz.
