These are devices used to generate electricity from solar sources for the users’ own needs. To this end, Gmina Miejska Bolesławiec has established cooperation with a group of other Lower Silesian municipalities and the specialised engineering organisation Centrum Technologii Energetycznych, operating within Stowarzyszenie Wolna Przedsiębiorczość.
As a result of this year’s competition under the Regional Operational Programme for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, we obtained funds to co-finance the purchase and installation of photovoltaic panels. These installations use solar energy to generate electricity. Co-financing of eligible installation costs may reach 85%, while the actual co-financing may amount to approximately 70–75%.
We are currently taking steps to assess the scale of residents’ interest in such an initiative in our municipality and to present its preliminary terms. For this purpose, questionnaires will be collected from interested people. On their basis, individual discussions may be held with those interested, as well as possible site inspections at the buildings reported, needed to determine whether a building preliminarily meets the conditions for participation in the project. This is essential to assess the possibility of applying photovoltaic technology at a specific location and for a specific consumer.
Residents interested in participating in the above-mentioned activities may register by:
- filling in a preliminary questionnaire—it will be provided at the meeting (see below); this applies both to those who have already submitted questionnaires and to people who have not done so yet.
Before coming to the meeting, please check (or estimate) and write down:
- the plot number on which your house stands, and the unshaded roof area on your building facing south/south-east/south-west,
- whether the electrical installation in your house is three-phase,
- the amount of electricity consumed by the household over the past year (and the amount of the electricity bills).
We would like to inform you that an information meeting—with invited experts—will be held to discuss the programme’s operating rules and residents’ participation options.
Meeting date and location:
06.11.2017
Time: 16:00–18:00
location: Conference Room at Bolesławiecki Ośrodek Kultury – Międzynarodowe Centrum Ceramiki, pl. Piłsudskiego 1 c, Bolesławiec.
The preliminary questionnaire will be available during the information meeting.
