Last weekend, the Polish Duathlon Championships were held in Rumia near Gdynia. The competition took place in three stages. First, the athletes raced over a 5-kilometre running course, followed by 20 kilometres on bicycles. Then came another quick change of shoes and the final 2.5-kilometre run through the streets of Rumia to the finish line.

Once again, bolesławianka Klaudia Petters confirmed her place among Poland’s leading triathletes by winning the bronze medal.

It is worth noting that this is our athlete’s third Polish Championship medal this year. Klaudia is the current Polish runner-up in aquathlon and triathlon. (This means that she has brought home medals from all the championship events organised by the Polish Triathlon Association.)
