The contract for modernizing the municipal wastewater treatment plant was signed by the Mayor of Bolesławiec and Leszek Ładziak, representative of the consortium of the winners of the international tender.
The value of the signed contract is €4.5 million. It will be shared by the consortium of the companies carrying out the works: Polimex-Mostostal Siedlce S.A. and WTE Wassertechnik Polska spółka z o.o.
After reconstruction, the municipal wastewater treatment plant will have capacity that takes into account the development needs of the city and Bolesławiec Municipality. The plant will meet the requirements of Polish legislation and European Union environmental protection directives. The facility will also become less disruptive to its surroundings, which should please the residents of the Staszica housing estate.
