Once the sewer pipe has been laid, this section of Marsa Street will be covered with an asphalt surface. The reconstruction of Marsa Street, from the intersection with Piłsudskiego Avenue to Plutona Street, will cost more than PLN 1.8 million. The scope of work includes reconstructing the carriageway (replacing the asphalt surface with concrete paving blocks), parking areas, pavements and driveways, as well as constructing raised plateaus and traffic-calming surfaces. The stormwater sewer system will be reconstructed with new sections; drainage manholes and inspection chambers with service connections, green strips and lawns will also be built.

The reconstruction of Marsa Street is another road investment in the Kopernika housing estate. In previous years, the city modernized Neptuna and Plutona streets. As part of this investment, the intersection of Plutona and Neptuna streets was also reconstructed. Earlier, Moniuszki Street, Galaktyczna Street and Oś Kartuska between Neptuna and Marsa streets were given a new layout.
