Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna invites you to three events:
- an exhibition – from 16 to 28 October
The exhibition presents a cross-section of the history of the direct struggle for independence from 1905 to 1921. It shows the efforts of all political camps seeking to rebuild the Republic of Poland, as well as the most important events of that period. The military effort of the Poles who fought during the First World War included the battles of the First Cadre Company, the Polish Legions, the Puławy Legion, the First, Second and Third Polish Corps in the East, and the Blue Army. The exhibition is complemented by numerous photographs, reproductions of documents and illustrations by Bohdan Wróblewski.
