Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre in Bolesławiec invites you on Sunday, 15 October, to the “Orzeł” Cultural Integration Centre for a celebration of art-house cinema, observed throughout the continent on this day.

The aim of this celebration is to show that cinemas are vibrant, public places for cultural encounters and perform an important social function. We want the “Orzeł” Cultural Integration Centre to become, in the near future, a place where art-house cinema enthusiasts can meet. And this is the first step.

We will begin the European Art-House Cinema Day celebrations with an afternoon screening for the youngest viewers – a collection of animated films about the adventures of the dog Reksio. We will show the episodes: “Reksio’s Spring”, “Reksio Renovates”, “Reksio and the Roosters”, “Reksio the Mountaineer” and “Reksio the Defender”. The evening screenings will feature the best European art-house film of 2016, “Toni Erdmann”, and the biggest Spanish-language hit of recent years, “Wild Tales”.
