The issue of blocked emergency access points to the A4 motorway has resurfaced. A TVP Wrocław report highlighted that when firefighters are responding to an accident, dismantling the barriers and entering the motorway takes them several minutes. And in such cases, every second counts!
“We will remove the barriers as soon as possible; most likely, this will happen later this month,” Magdalena Szumiata from the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways told wroclaw.tvp.pl Magdalena Szumiata from the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways. The barriers are to be replaced with gates, for which all rescue services will receive keys.
