A reader, who recently informed us that the marking of disabled parking spaces by the District Police Headquarters was, in his opinion, incorrect, drew attention to the same issue by the District Court in Bolesławiec. In an email to the editorial office, he wrote:

While walking past the courthouse building in Bolesławiec in the evening, I also noticed that there was no proper marking for a disabled parking space there. I really do not know what causes such negligence on the part of officials. Perhaps it is because they believe they are responsible for enforcing the law, rather than obeying it to the same extent as the citizens they pursue. Shameful. [...]

As istotne.pl was told by Zdzisław Patreuha, vice-president of the Bolesławiec court, the design for everything located outside the building was approved by the heritage conservator. The parking lot was also built according to the latter’s guidelines. “I do not think the heritage conservator would agree to repainting anything,” added Z. Patreuha.
