The incident took place on Sunday, 20 August, on Ogrodowa Street in Bolesławiec. A 35-year-old resident of our county attacked two men—a 24-year-old and a 30-year-old—with a machete. Both victims were taken to hospital. Their lives are not in danger.
The attacker was detained. It is known that he attacked the two men because they were from outside Bolesławiec—more specifically, from Zebrzydowa.
On Tuesday, 22 August, the attacker is expected to be charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm. The man, who has previously had conflicts with the law, could face up to 15 years in prison.
