An upset Reader called us: “A moment ago, my wife and I wanted to have lunch with our 8-month-old child. The child was treated like a dog and was not allowed inside.”
As it turned out, there is a sign in front of the entrance to the well-known Bolesławiec restaurant informing visitors that neither dogs nor strollers will be allowed inside. “This is a scandal,” the Reader said. “In the 21st century, in a civilized country. It is some kind of comedy.”
At Aniołek, we were told that nobody had been asked to leave the restaurant. However, the establishment has its rules and wants to ensure that customers have enough space, so during the Ceramic Festival it will not admit children in strollers. This is the venue’s way of dealing with the crowds that have descended on Bolesławiec.
