Readers contacted our editorial office, concerned about information someone had put up along Prusa Street on Monday. According to the sheets attached to the pavement, the entire street where the antiques market takes place during the Ceramic Festival had been reserved. In addition, someone had wrapped the curbs with tape bearing the German inscription “caution, glass.” It looked suspicious. People said they would have to pay to rent a space.
We checked with the Municipal Office. It turns out that these are fake reservations. The office does not take any money from anyone for setting up at the antiques market. Anyone who wishes can trade antiques during the festival. They do not have to pay the city for occupying the pavement.
The Municipal Police are checking the surveillance footage to determine when and by whom the sheets and tape were put up.
