At around 3:00 p.m., a road collision occurred on the road from Bolesławiec to Łaziska. An Alfa Romeo passenger car left the road and crashed into a tree. The two men traveling in the vehicle were taken to hospital. They were conscious when they were being assisted.
The car was traveling from the direction of Łaziska. The incident occurred at the entrance to the town, on a bend in the road. Skid marks can be seen on the road. Firefighters had to cut through the bodywork to free the passenger. Police are investigating the cause of the incident.

Police give excessive speed as the probable cause of the accident. The driver lost control of the car on a bend in the road and crashed into a tree. A blood sample was taken from the driver. We will report whether the driver was drunk once the police confirm this information.

The driver of the passenger car had 1.6 per mille of alcohol in his system.
