If tourists are to come to Bolesławiec, it is to buy ceramics. They set us apart on the map of Poland and the world. Unfortunately, the promotional poster shows only a couple standing beside a gray mug decorated with hearts. Their clothing: she is wearing a shirt, while he is wearing a polka-dot tie. Some Bolesławiec residents will probably associate the couple on the poster with last year’s festival’s Miss and Mister, but people from elsewhere in Poland will not understand this. And no one will associate it with the ceramics fair in Bolesławiec.

It is also unclear why the advertisement contains text in English, since this is a version of the poster published in Polish media, which non-Polish-speaking people do not read.

To make matters worse, the website address visible in the advertisement leads to a site that is poorly adapted for smartphones. Half of the people will stop viewing it because of the discomfort. The program on the website is so small that it cannot be read, because the image containing the program cannot be enlarged. The website is an informational mess. It will be difficult for an outsider to figure out what is important at the festival and why it is worth coming here.

It is a shame that the city cannot prepare a professional, clear website and advertisement for our biggest festival.
