“High School Musical 3: Senior Year”, “33 Scenes from Life”, “1612” – these are just some of the films included in the December programme at Forum cinema. “Kung Fu Panda” is an ideal choice for St Nicholas Day. An animated comedy about Po, a lazy and cheeky panda who must become a kung-fu master in order to save the Valley of Peace from an evil snow leopard – a guarantee of great fun for the whole family (screenings: 5–7 December).
On 2 and 3 December, viewers will still be able to see “Winx Club – The Secret of the Lost Kingdom”, the feature-length continuation of the “Winx Club” series, whose protagonists are teenage fairies. Piotr Kupicha, the lead singer of the band Feel, provided the voice for Riven. On 4 December, the play “The Snow Queen” (based on the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen) will be performed by the Puppet and Actor Theatre from Wałbrzych.
Just before Christmas, cinema lovers will be able to see the hilarious animated film “Bolt” at Forum, about the adventures of a clever dog and his unpredictable friends – Marlena the cat and Attyla the hamster (12–17 December).
For fans of thrills, Bolesławiec’s Forum has prepared the latest film about the adventures of the world’s most famous agent, James Bond – “007 Quantum of Solace”. In addition, December will feature the film that won an award at this year’s Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia – “33 Scenes from Life”. Viewers will also be able to see two films starring Michał Żebrowski: Magdalena Piekorz’s latest work, “Sleepiness” (screenplay by Wojciech Kuczok), and the great Russian epic “1612”.
The programme will also include films by the most distinguished auteurs. In December, the most important films by Agnieszka Holland will be shown: “Total Eclipse”, “Washington Square” and “The Third Miracle”. At the audience’s request, Forum cinema will screen “Testimony” again (a film about John Paul II). As part of the film discussion club, cinephiles will also see, among others: “Free Rainer – Reclaim Your Brain” (8 December), “Encounters at the End of the World” (15 December) and “Let the Right One In” (22 December).
