The holidays are a time for rest, but also a great opportunity to discover new forms of sport and perhaps even find a new passion. Summer brings to mind sunshine, water and wind—in other words, sailing, our passion. That is why we would like to invite all children aged 6–12 who want to discover the captain, pirate or sea wolf within them to join us on a shared adventure. We want sailing to become your passion too! You do not need any sailing experience; you only need to know how to swim.
Sailing day camps
This coming season, we have once again prepared an offer for children aged 6–12 who are not going away but want to spend their time actively. Our day camps are a wonderful introduction to the adventure of sailing. Every day means great fun outdoors, new friendships and memories to last a lifetime.
The aim of the day camps is to learn to sail Optimist-class boats. Optimists are the world’s most popular yacht class; they are very safe dinghies, and all activities on the water take place in life jackets. A motorboat with a qualified coach and instructor provides safety cover for the sailing boats. In addition to Optimists, we sail Cadets and Omegas, and also go kayaking.
Our training program was created based on previous experience working with children and providing sailing instruction. In addition to learning to sail, the children learn sailing customs, maritime ceremony and the principles of safe recreation near the water, as well as how to use rescue equipment.
The staff consists of sailing instructors, lifeguards and teachers
Participants: children aged 6–12.
Dates:
- Session I, 7–11 August 2017, NO PLACES AVAILABLE
- Session II, 14–18 August 2017.
Activities run from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
We provide full meals: a second breakfast and a two-course lunch.
Activities take place at the Yacht Club Bolesławiec base on the Krępnica Reservoir.
The program includes recreational and arts-and-crafts activities.
Swimming ability is required; no sailing experience is necessary.
The day camps can be the beginning of your further sailing adventures. We sail not only during the holidays—we also run a sailing school on weekends. The school’s activities take place on Saturdays and Sundays.
Additionally, we organize sailing cruises for children in Masuria, trips to regattas, training camps, and training for sailing and motorboat qualifications for young people and adults.

Training for the Yacht Sailor and Motorboat Skipper qualifications
We invite young people aged 14 and over and adults to sailing training for the Yacht Sailor and Motorboat Skipper licenses.
We provide comprehensive theoretical and practical training for each qualification, followed by an examination.
Activities take place at Krępnica from 7 to 18 August.
