The incident occurred on Saturday, July 29, on the road between Osiecznica and Tomisław. A man driving a Volkswagen lost control of the vehicle, crossed into the opposite lane and hit a BMW standing on the roadside. The driver of the latter was standing behind his vehicle, which hit him as a result of the collision. The man standing on the roadside sustained minor injuries.
The perpetrator of the collision told the officers that he had been blinded by the sun. The VW driver was fined PLN 500.
