The incident occurred on Thursday, July 20, at the swimming pool in Osiecznica. A 40-year-old resident of Osiecznica municipality probably became unwell. Attempts were made to resuscitate him. (A helicopter from the Polish Medical Air Rescue service was reportedly supposed to fly in for the victim.) Unfortunately, the man could not be saved.
The police, under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office, are determining the causes of the tragedy.
