On 29 November, Bolesławiec will host a St. Nicholas sports event under the name Football Stars for Children. Footballers from first-division Zagłębie Lubin will come to our city. The programme includes, among other things:
- From 10:30 a.m. in the sports hall at I LO—a youth indoor football tournament for players born in 1996/97, with the participation of, among others, BKS Bobrzanie and Zagłębie Lubin.
- From 11:00 a.m. at the children’s home on Kubika Street—a visit by Zagłębie Lubin footballers, combined with the presentation of St. Nicholas gifts to the children
- From 4:00 p.m. at the headquarters of Dobry Doradca on Łokietka Street—a Zagłębie Lubin press conference combined with a presentation of the Lubin club’s new stadium
Football Stars for Children is an event organised by BKS Bobrzanie and the Inter-School Sports Centre. In this way, the organisers want to thank BKS’s young footballers and their coach for winning the Lower Silesian Orlik Championship. Saturday’s event will also inaugurate the ninth edition of the County Indoor Football League.
The BKS board is also making efforts to arrange a friendly match between first-division Zagłębie Lubin and BKS Bobrzanie. If the board’s efforts are successful, the match will be played at the municipal stadium on Saturday from 1:30 p.m.
