On November 19, a 30-year-old man, an employee of one of the transport companies, reported to the police. He claimed that he had been attacked by several assailants who put him in the trunk and drove him to an unknown location. The attackers were also allegedly supposed to have stolen three mobile phones and a laptop from him.
The truck was found in Lipiany (Bolesławiec County). During the investigation, officers from Bolesławiec and Wrocław determined that the 30-year-old was not telling the truth and that no robbery had taken place.
The man was placed under police supervision. Reporting a crime that was not committed carries a penalty of up to two years in prison.
