The city officials had been waiting for bids until March 7, as we read on the infobus.pl portal. Two were submitted. The cheaper bid came from the Ursus Bus 6 consortium, which priced the delivery of 13 City Smile CS10LF vehicles at PLN 12,128,415 gross (a unit price of approximately PLN 864,000 net). The second bid was submitted by Solaris, which offered to deliver 13 Urbino 10 buses for PLN 12,792,000 gross.
The tender had a turbulent course. (Details on the infobus.pl website.) Ultimately, on Tuesday, July 4, the bid from the Lublin-based manufacturer won. Thirteen City Smile CS10LF vehicles will go to Bolesławiec.
As Andrzej Jagiera, president of MZK Bolesławiec, told istotne.pl Andrzej Jagiera, by the end of November this year, 13 new Ursus buses should be operating on the streets of the City of Ceramics.
