Overall, the matura exam pass rate in Bolesławiec County was 80.4%, which is 4.4% higher than in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship (76%). The highest pass rate was recorded in technical schools—74.20%—which once again confirms the quality of county vocational education (in Lower Silesia, technical school students achieved only 60.8%). The general secondary schools also ranked highly in the voivodeship, achieving a result 2.3% better than students in Lower Silesia.
– It is not without reason that people say our county schools are “probably the best schools in the world,” and certainly in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship – says Karol Stasik, Bolesławiec County governor. – We came third in matura exam pass rates, and that is a very significant result.
Among Bolesławiec’s general secondary schools, I Liceum Ogólnokształcące performed better, with a 95% pass rate. Meanwhile, II Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Janusza Korczaka w Bolesławcu achieved a 93.15% pass rate.
Among technical schools, Zespół Szkół Handlowych i Usługowych im. Jana Kochanowskiego w Bolesławcu ranked highest, with a 90% pass rate, followed by Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych (87.27%), Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych (79.76%), Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych im. mjra Henryka Sucharskiego w Bolesławcu (67.19%) and Zespół Szkół Budowlanych (53.57%).
