Friday evening at Concordia began with a screening of the film "Niecodzienność". The film by Wrocławska Wytwórnia Filmowa JR addressed the issues of the passage of time and the search for the meaning of life.
After the film, the residents of Bolesławiec watched the Oqular theater group’s play "Pierwsza Miłość". The play was based on Samuel Beckett’s novella of the same title. "Pierwsza Miłość" is a story about the feeling connecting a homeless man and a prostitute. The play presented two scenes. The first depicted the present, while the second depicted the past—the characters’ memories of their lives.
The hip-hop monodrama "Sinusoida" was presented by Czesław Bukowiec. "Sinusoida" is a story about the highs and lows experienced by contemporary people. The monodrama had an interesting form. It combined dramatic text with improvised text—a freestyle rooted in hip-hop culture. The actor delighted the audience with his performance, lyrics and openness.
