The honorary title “Honored for the Lower Silesian Wilderness” was open to community activists, entrepreneurs, journalists, local government officials and politicians. In the latter category, starosta Cezary Przybylski was the winner.

“The award was presented to the starosta for the support provided to the municipalities belonging to the Local Action Group Bory Dolnośląskie and for bringing about the creation of the Subregional Network Tourism Product Bory Dolnośląskie, which enables municipalities to apply to the Regional Operational Programme,” said Jerzy Ludwin, vice-president of the “Bory Dolnośląskie” Foundation.

All competition laureates received diplomas and gifts in the form of local ceramic products.
