On the first Sunday of July, we invite you to Żeliszów for the 2nd Kresy-Cabbage Festival. At 2:00 p.m., a Holy Mass for the people of Kresy will be held at the church in Żeliszów. Afterwards, flowers will be laid beneath the obelisk located in the centre of the village, and a colourful procession made up of musical groups and guests will proceed to the football pitch. The artistic programme will begin at 3:00 p.m., and in the meantime there will also be an accompanying event: a football match between teams representing Poland (Bolesławiec Municipality) and Ukraine (Zbarazh). Musical groups will perform on stage, there will be an opportunity to see a scene from the film “Sami Swoi”, and the featured star will be the Ukrainian group “ZBYRAŻ”.
