Karate fighters from Bolesławiec’s TOP club ended the season by competing in the County League in Marcinkowice near Oława. Our town was represented by 13 athletes: Dominika Grzyb, Mateusz Ginter, Michał Ginter, Artur Stachów, Jakub Skóra, Filip Matusiewicz, Igor Markiewicz, Jakub Matczak, Radek Burdzy, Michał Bieliński, Maciek Graczyk, Franek Kozioł and Arek Giela. The athletes from Bolesławiec competed in technical events (kihon and kata) as well as fighting events (fantom and kumite).

The athletes coached by Robert Bieliński won 14 medals! Jakub Skóra was the team’s most successful athlete; he won a medal in every event he entered: first place in kumite (in the under-35 kg category), third place in the fantom event and third place in kihon. The other medalists were:

  • Michał Bieliński – second place in kumite and second place in kata
  • Maciej Graczyk – second place in kumite and third place in kata
  • Franciszek Kozioł – third place in fantom and third place in kata
  • Artur Stachów – second place in kumite
  • Radosław Burdzy – third place in kata
  • Filip Matusiewicz – third place in kumite
  • Dominika Grzyb – third place in kihon
  • Igor Markiewicz – second place in fantom.
