The main theme was the voyages of the pirate Rudobrody. Fifty-four children took part in the activity and were divided into crews. The crews completed tasks according to clues read out by the teachers leading the event. Their main task was to find treasures hidden around the school grounds. The treasure chests contained certificates, chocolate bars shaped like gold ingots and lollipops. After completing all the tasks, the tired crews went to the school cafeteria, where pizza was waiting for them. The greatest attractions of the gathering were spending the night at the school and watching the film “Lasse and Maia’s Detective Agency”.

In the morning, the treasure hunters ate the breakfast they had prepared themselves. The children asked about another event of this kind. Happy, they told their parents about their experiences and stated that they would take part in the next edition of the Night of Libraries in a year.

The event was organised by: Monika Grzyb, Elżbieta Grzyb, and Małgorzata Oleś. The following women also took part in organising the event: Monika Grzyb, Elżbieta Grzyb, Małgorzata Oleś, Magda Fedorowicz, Anna Kozłowska, and Anna Kot.
