The incident occurred on June 15, before 9:00 p.m., at one of the gas stations in Lubin. Two men entered the premises, took a multipack of beer each, and left. A station employee followed them, demanding that they return the stolen goods. One of them then pulled out a hammer and swung the tool in her direction. He told the woman to go back to work because he could hurt her.

Police arrested the suspects several hundred metres from the station. Both were drunk and were taken into police custody.

The 33- and 32-year-old men may now face up to 12 years in prison.
