In her summary of the ceremony, Danuta Zielińska explicitly praised the teachers for supporting the Polish Red Cross.

– Today’s induction ceremony is above all the teachers’ work, for which I am extremely grateful – said the head of the Polish Red Cross district branch in Bolesławiec. – I am pleased that Primary School No. 2 has promoted healthy living and personal hygiene for many years, and has taught children about the activities of the Polish Red Cross.

The ceremony inducting members into the Squirrel Club was organized for preschoolers from “six”, who came with their teachers: Renata Zarzycka and Beata Kozłowska, as well as pupils from classes Ia and Ib with their teachers: Joanna Sołkiewicz and Jolanta Borysiuk. Students from classes IIIa and IIIc, members of the Squirrel Club, also attended the event.

The program was rich and adapted to the children’s attention spans. The pupils and preschoolers completed a quiz, pledged always to care for their health and help those in need, and were inducted into the club. The children also enjoyed a short animated film about a princess who scared away all her suitors with her decayed teeth. They reacted very warmly to two girls dressed as squirrels, who conducted a hygiene knowledge test with the children.
