Young people, under the supervision of WOPR instructor Maciej Marcinkiewicz, prepared for this event for more than three months. Everyone successfully completed the demanding course.

The young lifeguards first took a test on water-rescue knowledge, and then completed successive examination tasks in the pool—timed swimming, underwater swimming and rescue operations. At the WOPR center in Kunice, the young people also operated boats and completed towing exercises.

The residents of Bolesławiec performed excellently! After the examination came the oath-taking ceremony and awards. (Representatives of the City of Legnica, WOPR activists and sponsors attended the ceremony.) Thanks to the qualifications granted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the lifeguards can work at all types of bodies of water.
