The council is an advisory and consultative body on matters concerning cooperation between Bolesławiec County and non-governmental organizations. The body’s term lasts two years, and its members include representatives of the Council and the County Executive Board, as well as non-governmental organizations. The new District Council for Public Benefit Activity consists of:
- Ryszard Kawka, head of the Bolesławiec County Council
- Michał Bojanowski, deputy head of the County Council
- Stanisław Chwojnicki, full-time member of the County Executive Board
- Katarzyna Grzelczyk, representative of the County Executive Board
- Adam Bartków of the Active Rehabilitation Foundation “FAR”
- Jadwiga Bobek, head of the Bolesławiec Society of Friends of Children
- Władysława Kotlarek of the Bolesławiec Amazons Club
- Barbara Pankowska of the “Carpe Diem” Teachers’ Club
- Małgorzata Szeliga of UKS Orientpark.pl Iwiny.
Adam Bartków was elected head of the council, with Jadwiga Bobek as his deputy. Katarzyna Grzelczyk will serve as secretary. The right people in the right places?
