The incident occurred on Sunday, 4 June, in Trzebień (Bolesławiec municipality). Before 6:00 p.m., the 29-year-old resident of Węgorzewo County, who was riding a cross-type moped, lost control of the vehicle, ran off the road and hit the fence of one of the properties. The man was injured. It is not yet known how serious his injuries are. However, his life is not in danger.
The man was riding alone. No one else was injured in the incident. As there was a suspicion that the 29-year-old had been riding the scooter under the influence of alcohol or drugs, blood was drawn from him for testing.
Volunteer firefighters from OSP Trzebień, firefighters from KP PSP Bolesławiec, the police and an emergency medical team took part in the operation.
