The artistically talented pupils of class 3b at Primary School No. 5 on Dolne Młyny Street created exceptional illustrations for a tale by Grażyna Hanaf. As a reward, the illustrations now decorate the window of Agora bookshop. A walk for ice cream on Children’s Day brought the children another surprise. The exhibition of their work was opened with their participation. When the children, delighted by the exhibition, began taking photos of themselves, Józefina Witas invited them into the bookshop.

Class III b took part in the art competition “Draw a Dream-Making Machine” as part of a cycle of fairytale therapy sessions with Grażyna Hanaf. Librarian Ewa Wiśniewska organized the meetings and the exhibition of illustrations for the tale “Garbuska” by Anna Chaberek. Pupils from fifth- and third-grade classes participated in the meetings and workshops. In this way, the school celebrated International Writers’ Day, which is observed every year on 3 March.

The third-graders’ illustrations appealed to the author of the tales so much that she suggested organizing an exhibition of them in the window of the bookshop in the Market Square. Thanks to Józefina Witas’s kindness, the exhibition was prepared especially for Children’s Day.
