The incident occurred on Thursday, 18 May, on the A4 motorway, near the village of Dobra (Bolesławiec municipality). According to our reader, a woman attacked with a knife the man with whom she was travelling by car.

At this time, neither the police nor the prosecutor’s office are providing details of the incident. It is only known that it concerns a 34-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man from Zgorzelec County. The injured man was taken to hospital.
Procedures in the case are ongoing. We have unofficially learned that the woman was undergoing psychiatric treatment. She is currently in hospital for observation. (The attack allegedly occurred when the 31-year-old man was taking the 34-year-old woman to the aforementioned facility.)
This is another knife attack to have occurred recently in our county. On Wednesday, 10 May, a domestic dispute took place in a high-rise building at 2b Staroszkolna Street in Bolesławiec. During the argument, a 67-year-old woman grabbed a knife and stabbed her 68-year-old husband with it. The injured man was taken to hospital. Fortunately, the injuries proved to be superficial.
Interestingly, after the incident, the woman went to church. (She was arrested in the vicinity of the church.)
The 67-year-old woman was charged with abuse and causing bodily harm. She was placed under police supervision and ordered to leave the apartment. She could face up to five years in prison.
