The placement was carried out at The Game Kitchen. The trip took place as part of the Erasmus+ programme, KA1 VET action, and concerned the project “New technologies supporting the acquisition of competences in line with new trends and requirements on the labour market”.
For three weeks, the students learned the secrets of game programming, designed in Maya, and also learned Spanish and became familiar with the local culture and customs. “In September 2017, we will send another group of 16 students to Spain,” says the management of “Elektronik”.
Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych has been arranging vocational placements in Spain since 2013, initially as part of the Leonardo da Vinci programme and, since 2014, under Erasmus+. The school coordinator of the Erasmus+ project, KA1 VET action, is Elżbieta Niedźwiecka. Thanks to cooperation with Spanish partners, ZSE sends 32 students from various fields of study on an international placement every year.
(The film from the vocational placement in Spain was prepared by Emil Siwik from class III H).
