The incident occurred on Tuesday, May 16, at around 8:00 p.m. The duty officer of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police was notified that a man was loitering around a car parked on Asnyka Street.
The officer immediately dispatched a patrol there. The monitoring operator noticed that the man was struggling with the car door, whose window had already been smashed. The vandal tried various ways to get into the car. A moment later, he jumped into it through the broken window. He sat in the passenger seat.
Municipal police officers apprehended the vandal, who... wanted to rest. The man was handed over to the police, who are conducting further proceedings in the case.
