Our Reader asked us to revisit the issue of the Bolesławiec–Lwówek Śląski road:

Find out what is happening with this road to Lwówek. The first section was supposed to have been completed a long time ago.

Leszek Loch, director of the Lower Silesian Roads and Railways Service in Wrocław: “On provincial road no. 297, on the Bolesławiec–Lwówek Śląski section, work is under way. The contractor is carrying out road works and work on engineering structures along 5.8 km of the Bolesławiec–Suszki section. The scope of work includes: MCE subbase, bituminous subbases, binder course, ditches, embankment slopes, repairs to pedestrian routes and bus bays, and reconstruction of culverts.

He adds: “Across the entire Bolesławiec–Lwówek Śląski section, the following have been completed: tree felling and restoration of the boundaries of the road reserve. Road and bridge works are being carried out with a slight delay resulting from unfavorable weather conditions occurring practically until 10 May. The contractor is making efforts to make up for the delays.
