In January this year, Gromadka Municipality took over a plot of land on which a new fire station together with a police station is to be built. Design work is underway. The investment will cost approximately PLN 2.5 million. – We are waiting for a programme that will support our efforts – Dariusz Pawliszczy, Gromadka commune head, tells istotne.pl Dariusz Pawliszczy. – When it comes to municipal investments, we always try to find an additional source of funding so that we can do more.
The local government head expects the tender for this project to be launched later this year.
This is not the only investment that will support the volunteer firefighters from Gromadka. In the third quarter of this year, the municipality will purchase a medium-sized fire engine worth more than PLN 800,000. The local government’s budget includes PLN 410,000 for this purpose. The remainder will come from external funding.
