Representative of MKS Bolesłavia Mateusz Tofil received a scholarship from the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, a financial award for outstanding sporting achievements extending beyond the borders of our country. Last year, Mateusz became the Polish high-jump champion and represented the national colors at the European Under-18 Championships in Tbilisi (Georgia). Moreover, our athlete is part of the National Team training program. Recently, he also received an award for promoting the city from Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman.
The marshal’s award from Cezary Przybylski was also given—once again—to Mateusz’s home club. Let us recall that Bolesłavia athletes won 16 Polish Championship medals and 57 Lower Silesian Championship medals last year, as well as earning 132.14 points in the Children and Youth Sports System.
