The ruins are located in Nowoszów (Neuhuas), a village abandoned after 1945 on the border of Lubusz and Lower Silesian Voivodeships. Piotr Koza from parowa.info.pl wrote about the matter as early as two years ago. However, as the tvn24.pl portal reports, until now nobody had connected them with the ruins of a medieval castle belonging to Bolko II the Small, the last independent Piast duke in Silesia, because another structure had been built over them. The identification was made possible only by a recently conducted architectural analysis. Details at tvn24.pl.
