The Stations of the Cross tell of the final moments of Jesus’ life, stirring feelings of repentance and prompting reflection. For many, however, they are something distant and abstract, out of place in the times in which we live. That is why attempts have repeatedly been made to bring them into our reality and give them a more universal meaning.

Such an attempt was made by the group that prepared yesterday’s performance. The introduction of new elements, the modernization of the setting, and the distinctive, mysterious atmosphere created a spectacle that was rewarded by the audience gathered in the church with a standing ovation. Deservedly so.
