The ceremony appointing Deputy Inspector Dariusz Borski as county police chief in Bolesławiec took place on Monday, March 27. At the County Police Headquarters, the provincial police chief’s order appointing Deputy Inspector Dariusz Borski as head of the Bolesławiec police was read out. The appointment document was presented to D. Borski by Deputy Provincial Police Chief Inspector Piotr Leciejewski.
Deputy Inspector Borski is a graduate of the Zielona Góra University of Technology and the Police Academy in Szczytno. He has served in the police for more than 25 years. Since 1998, he has held managerial positions. Since 2000, he was head of the Investigative Department at the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, and later deputy head of that unit. In December last year, after Inspector Henryk Stefanka was dismissed, he assumed the duties of KPP chief.
In 2005, Dariusz Borski was awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit, and in 2011 he received the Bronze Badge of “Distinguished Police Officer”.
