Laura also suffers from hypoglycemia, which causes sudden and dangerous drops in blood sugar. Like every girl her age, she dreams of ordinary things: meeting her peers, playing, going on trips, attending school and spending time with her friends. Unfortunately, despite so many years of intensive physical rehabilitation and her brave fight against the disease, she is becoming weaker and weaker and falls ill more and more often, which means she cannot attend school or meet her peers.
This year, great happiness came our way: Laura was accepted for stem cell treatment, which is intended to strengthen her body and slow the progression of the disease. For us, her parents, this is a dream—one we have kept deeply hidden in our hearts and had never dared to speak aloud about until now. And now it is happening. Unfortunately, the cost of the therapy is staggering and beyond our means as parents.
That is why we are asking for your help and support for our daughter in her fight against the disease. We need PLN 60,000. Thanks to your help, our daughter has a chance to live and fulfil her dreams.
