The proceeds from the event, which will take place on Sunday, April 23 in the sports hall of the Adam Mickiewicz Middle School in Nowogrodziec (entrance from Kolejowa Street), will be used for the treatment and rehabilitation of Laura Jadach, a girl suffering from muscular dystrophy.
“The event will be led by professional zumba and dance instructors, with fitness elements, and there will certainly be no shortage of great fun,” the organizers encourage. The event will begin at 3:00 p.m.. Tickets priced at PLN 20 and PLN 10 (discounted—for primary and middle school students) will be available at the entrance to the sports hall.
Seven-year-old Laura from Nowogrodziec suffers from muscular atrophy. Until now, continuous rehabilitation has been the only form of treatment. Now there is a chance for experimental treatment with stem cells, which may improve the girl’s health. Unfortunately, several tens of thousands of zlotys are needed for this.
The marathon is organized by Gminne Centrum Kultury i Sportu w Nowogrodźcu.
