The accident occurred before noon on the road between Ocice and Mierzwin. The 23-year-old driver of a Renault passenger car was driving too fast and lost control of the vehicle. He crossed into the opposite lane and sideswiped a truck travelling correctly in its lane. His car ran off the road and ended up in a field.
